A Good Day's Hunting The deadly silence enveloping the forest was unnatural. Not a bird or insect sang. Even the wind was stilled. It was the silence following a gunshot. A gunshot who's harshness had echoed through the colossal trees and dragged smothering stillness down through the distant canopy. It was the first time the forest had heard a gunshot, and its collective being was startled by its unfamiliarity. Internal Diary, Week 1Day 1: They tell me to think to myself. I do, and nothing happens. Except for this place, where I am saying thoughts and they stay. They say that here they will not tread, they will leave me alone. Other times, I think and they know it, that which I thought. I do not know if this is normal, I don't think it is. Why do I think that this is strange? My logic is failing. I only have seven lines. When they are filled, no more. Day 2: I can't, my thinking is wrong. They are hurting me.
